Prepare the Base: Fill a pressure cooker or puttu kudam with water and bring it to a boil until steam begins to release.
Layer the Ingredients: Place a layer of freshly grated coconut at the bottom of the Chiratta maker, followed by moistened Kitchen Treasures Chemba Puttu Podi.
Steam: Place the maker onto the steam vent. Steam for approximately 2–3 minutes until steam emerges steadily from the top holes.
Serve: Use the handle to lift the maker and gently push the puttu out onto a plate. Best enjoyed with Kadala curry or ripe bananas.
